Beyond the Numbers

Behind every number is a student who now has the chance to learn an instrument, join a band, or discover the joy of making music. Many of the instruments previously donated to Tune Up for Tomorrow had been sitting unused in attics, basements, and closets for years. Through the generosity of donors and the dedication of student volunteers, those instruments are restored and delivered to classrooms, homes, and rehearsal spaces where they can be played again.

The Tune Up For Tomorrow impact extends beyond the instruments themselves.

In addition to opening the world of music to students around the globe, its influence lives in the communities that form around this work: in the donors who pass along instruments that have been part of their life stories, the volunteers who carefully clean and restore them, and the teachers who place them in the hands of students ready to discover what music can unlock.
